The original condition of SK St Mark Perai in 2006. The Board of governors have now taken the initiative to rebuild the school. A meeting was held in December 2006 headed by BOG Chairman Rev John Edward together with the PIBG Chairman Mr Haizi, MP of Batu Kawan representative Mr. Praba & Mr Velaendan, Mr Ulaganathan ( JKKK Chairman ), Mr Yacop Hashim ( JKKK Secretary ), Mr Ng Hooi Lai ( Persatuan Megamall ), Mdm Pauline Sendal, Mr Rahmat ( PIBG ) and the teachers.

This was also my lovely school back in 1982-1987. I have fond memories. I would love to reunite with my ex-school mates. I don't know whatever happen to them. I tried searching on facebook but could not locate any of them.
I used to leave at the railway quarters and ride my bicycle to school daily. We used to play at the field across the monsoon drain. But, i think all of those now are gone and replaced by condos and others.
I thought the school has been shifted or closed for good. One day i would like to show the school to my son.
this was the school that brought too many good and bad memories, for example school bullies , good crazy friends , crazy disciplinary indian teacher, poor friends of the same kind , like able teachers a muddy field , with a memorable school canteen.
i still do remember my friends but don't think i can recall all of them.
I remember most of it about St Marks Prai.I was there from 1974 till 1979.Remember some of my teachers,Std 1 ,Puan Warna,Std 6 Mr Zover Khan who uses a Norton Motorbike ,he was considered a very strict teacher.
The Headmaster durimg my time was Mr Foong See Yok.
It was a beautifull school,sorounded my by feild and Police Station.Love the school and will always cherish my time in that school.
