RIP Mr Velaendan

The Board of governors would like to extend our deepest condolence to the family and friends of Mr. Velaendan who had gone to the Lord on the 23rd October 2010. He had attended our meeting last week. Mr Velaendan is one of the founding member of the rebuilding project and had contributed since day 1. We value all his contribution and his dismiss is a big loss to the Board. Thank you for all that you have done for the school, community and nation. May your soul rest in peace.

3rd Trip To Putrajaya - 2nd Jan 2009

Proposal for Block A ( Double Story ) & Canteen

The rebuilding of the Sk St Mark Perai in SPT, Penang is still under progress. We have only renovated 2 blocks ( Block B & Block C ). The Board of Governors ( Mr Praba, Mr Vela, Mr Morali ) went down to PUTRAJAYA and handed over the application for Block A & canteen to the officers in charge. We are proposing to the government for a double story building for block A :

2nd Trip to Putrajaya - 29th August 2007

This was the second trip by The Board of Governers represented by  ( Mr Praba, Mr Vela, Mr Morali & Mr Ulaganathan ) who again travelled to Putrajaya to meet up officers from various Department to inform that the board's intention.

RTM - Kawasan Saya

The former MP of Batu Kawan, Huan Cheng Guan have given his full support through out the re-building of the school was planned. About the same time of last year, he had brought in the crew of RTM Kawasan Saya program who highlighted the condition of the school. We would like to extend our thanks to HCG for the effort. The school started seeing major changes since than. More funds were allocated by the Federal government which was given through HCG.

1st Application to Putrajaya - 14th Feb 2007

This was first step taken by The Board of Governers, who travelled to Putrajaya to meet up officers from various Department. ( Mr Praba, Mr Vela, Mr Morali & Mr Ulaganathan ).  After the1st meeting was held in 2006, the board prepared the paper work to submit the new building application to the Ministry.

School Condition After Downpour

This is the condition of the school after an hour of downpour. We started facing the problem after the development of the surrounding area. The teachers gave their full commitment and their responsibility towards their duties have always been tremendous. The borad would like to thank the teachers & staff for their continous support and effort towards building a better generation. 

St Mark Perai - Original Building

The original condition of SK St Mark Perai in 2006. The Board of governors have now taken the initiative to rebuild the school. A meeting was held in December 2006 headed by BOG Chairman Rev John Edward together with the PIBG Chairman Mr Haizi, MP of Batu Kawan representative Mr. Praba & Mr Velaendan, Mr Ulaganathan ( JKKK Chairman ), Mr Yacop Hashim ( JKKK Secretary ), Mr Ng Hooi Lai ( Persatuan Megamall ), Mdm Pauline Sendal, Mr Rahmat ( PIBG ) and the teachers.
